Russian Evening
Since last semester I have attended a Russian language course as “Studium Generale”. After having a lot of fun during classes and a quite satisfying examination at the end of last semester I decided to stick to my third foreign language (especially as a little east German girl who was born in the German Democratic Republic, my parents speak Russian almost fluently). And once in a while our lecturer Larissa Paris organizes a “get together” among all the different courses.
So last Friday, one of theses special occasions happened again. At 8 p.m. we met in the Russian restaurant “Bravo” near Bundesplatz in Wilmersdorf. After having a quite nice dinner with fish, meat and Bortsch(typical Russian soup), we had one or even two Wodka and started singing songs like “Nikoloscha” or the Russian birthday song composed by the little monster “Tschiburaschka”. I enjoyed very much that night and I am really looking forward to the next one. I would love you to join me on these little parties, even if you do not have had any contact with Russia or Russian language before; Wodka might help- trust me on that^^
